WHAT IS POLITICAL SCIENCE?
Political science focuses on the theory and practice of government and politics at the local, state, national, and international levels. We are dedicated to developing understandings of institutions, practices, and relations that constitute public life. Some of the major sub-fields are: Political Theory, Comparative Politics, International Relations, American Government and Politics, and Political Methodology.
POLITICAL SCIENCE ASSOCIATES IN ARTS
The Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree is designed for the student who plans to transfer to a Florida public university as a junior to complete a Bachelor’s degree. A student who earns an A.A. degree from Broward College meets the lower division general education requirements of a Florida state university, but does not automatically meet the requirements for a particular major.
