WHAT IS ANTHROPOLOGY?

Anthropology is the study of what makes us human. Anthropologists  consider the past, through archaeology, to see how human groups lived hundreds or thousands of years ago. They consider what makes up our biological bodies and genetics, as well as our bones, diet, and health. American anthropology is generally divided into four sub-fields: Archaeology, Biological Anthropology, Cultural Anthropology and Linguistic Anthropology.

ANTHOPOLOGY ASSOCIATES IN ARTS

The Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree is designed for the student who plans to transfer to a Florida public university as a junior to complete a Bachelor’s degree. A student who earns an A.A. degree from Broward College meets the lower division general education requirements of a Florida state university, but does not automatically meet the requirements for a particular major.
